Ordering

Orders placed through this site are requests to buy. An order is only confirmed once we reply to you on WhatsApp or by phone. Prices shown are in South African Rand and may change without notice until your order is confirmed.

Weights, cutting and the scale

We cut fresh meat by hand. For items sold by weight, the price you pay is the price the till scale shows when your order is packed. We aim to match the weight you asked for, but items that cannot be sliced into arbitrary amounts — for example pork chops or other whole cuts — may differ by roughly ±10 grams, because a chop cannot be halved. You pay for exactly what the scale reads. For that reason, if you pay in advance by EFT the final total may differ slightly from the amount you saw online, and we will settle any small difference with you on collection.

Hampers & combo packs

For hampers and combo packs the total weight is honoured, but the weight of any single item in the pack may vary. If one item comes in a little under, another will make up the difference so the overall pack weight is correct. See the notice shown in your basket when a hamper is added.

Payment & collection

Payment is arranged directly with the shop — on collection, or by EFT with proof of payment. Online card payment is not yet available.
